Adam Lambert performs at the PC Richard & Son Theater, shushes fan on phone

Its been all over the Adam Lambert fansites, entertainment blogs, and social networks: Former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert performed at the P.C. Richard & Son Theater in TriBeCa and put on an amazing performance on February 15, 2010. What made the performance partciularly newsworthy, however, was a fan on her phone.

In the middle of the chorus of his single Whataya Want From Me?, Lambert began waving his hand and looked directly at a girl in the audience, saying, “Wait, wait… can you get off your phone? You’re yelling into it. Wait, sorry; we’re gonna start over. Sorry guys!” This was met by a roar of applause in the audience as he continued, “‘Dominoes, we deliver!’ This isn’t TV, honey, it’s a live show.” He then proceeded to begin the song over again. The concert included performances of Whataya Want From Me?, Fever, Mad World and more.
