How It Works

As soon as you load up the app it starts importing the entire catalog for you to browse easily. This process only takes about a second depending on your connection.

You are then taken to a screen to begin browsing all of our main product categories.

Once you drill down to the products, you can see their price, reviews, and photos.

Once you find a product you like, you can view further information about it including product specs and inventory levels at the Superstores closest to you.

The store listing will give you the address, phone number, hours of operation, the number of miles you are away and the current inventory levels.

The map shows the store you chose and additional features of that particular store location.

Dr Oz brought 3 women on his show: Felicia, Staci and Doreen and all of them were given the same goals – to find the best deal on the health products from Dr Oz’s list. The first assignment was to find the best deal online for a humidifier. Here are the tips them came up with:

- Use shopzilla and bizrate, which are like the google of shopping and help you to find the best price on products. She was able to find for $21.57 a PCRichard’s Personal Humidifier which is half the listed price. What is great about this humidifier is that you can take it with you in the car or even to your office because it has connections for both.

While more contemporary books are available for a fee, be sure to also check out the best of free section highlighting popular stories like Pride & Prejudice, Moby Dick and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, but you can find free books on any topic by searching and sorting by “free only.” As an example, here is a search on free short stories. Clicking on any of the books will allow you to read a sample, find out more about the book, or download it onto your computer, handheld device or e-book reader.

All books are accessible anywhere wirelessly and are compatible with web browsers, e-readers, handheld devices and more. If you begin a book on one device, you can pick up right where you left off on another.

“It was an ongoing project on-and-off for about two months,” said our programmer, Steve. “My favorite feature is the in-store inventory lookup, which is currently unique to the mobile site and not on our full site right now.” When I asked him about his goals when creating the mobile site, he said, “I tried to keep the same functionality and really parallel the regular site. It’s  a different perspective of the website you’re used to seeing, just on a smaller resolution.”

The only major difference of our full site versus this mobile site is that the mobile site is not currently commerce enabled, but Steve has integrated an “order by phone” tab so you can conveniently place an order from anywhere. Try it out and tell us what you think!

Here’s a brief overview of our great new mobile site:

When you first get to the site, you’ll notice how easy it is to navigate. You can search for a particular product, browse categories, or see what hot deals we have available for the week. You can also log in to your account, check the status of an order, track a delivery or service, sign up for our e-mail newsletter (hint: if you’re a new subscriber, you’ll get a $15 off $100 or more coupon if you do), and a contact us button to dial our toll-free 877 number.

This is the “browse by category” page. As you can see, we have everything in our regular site’s catalog here and ready to browse. These categories are also broken down into sub-categories, which are sometimes then even broken down into further categories. For example, Appliances and Vaccuums can bring you to Air Conditioners, which then can direct you to Window Air Conditioners. It’s after that that you can view all of the products we have available for your specific needs.

Here’s a sample of products you’d find under the category you choose. You can view a short description, the model number, amount of product reviews and the current low price we’re offering.

Once you select a particular product, can see more information, customer reviews, features and available warranties. You can also e-mail the details to you or a friend, order by phone, or check the stock of a store near you.

If you wish to check the current stock of a store near you, click “find in store” on the product page and enter your zip code. You’ll be presented with a list of stores in your area, their address, phone number and inventory level, and how many miles away they are.

If you need more information about a store, including a map and the services they offer, you can access a profile page for each location on the “stores” tab.

Another page you should make a point to check out is the “hot deals” section, which is accessible right from the homepage. These deals are constantly changing and you can save a great deal of money every week!

Also, don’t forget that you can also manage your account from the mobile site. Think of it as your personal P.C. Richard & Son assistant!

Saturday, June 19th at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ

We are presenting the 35th annual Night of Thrills at Raceway Park, which is an exciting and fun-filled event for the entire family! Gates open at 5pm and you can enter to win the Weber grill right at the entrance. Featuring a variety of the nation’s top drivers, from many forms of racing, this night creates a family-friendly motorsports carnival, with something for everyone.
