The new uDraw Tablet for Nintendo Wii is pretty cool… it turns any TV into an art studio! Simply click your Wii remote into the tablet and you’re ready to draw. Bundled with the uDraw Studio game, users can create original works of art, shade in dozens of coloring book templates, use a selection of stamps, and more and can save their creations on an SD card to share them with others.
uDraw studio accommodates various levels of artistic ability, and kids and adults alike will enjoy the Pictionary game that requires the tablet too. The game has over 3,000 clues and several drawing styles, shape tools and colors. The three game modes include Pictionary game show, Pictionary Mania, & Free Draw and is the perfect addition to Family Game Night.
According to the game, a Sony engineer in Tokyo has discovered that the PSP camera (included with the game) is more sensitive than the human eye, and can see “creatures of light” hiding out on real-world objects. Now that humans can use this technology see Invizimals (strange Pokemon-like creatures), you can collect, interact with, evolve and send them into battle! Look for them wherever you can: on your desk, the top of your TV, in your closet, in your empty shoe boxes, etc. Each game comes with a camera to spot your critters and a “trap card,” which allows players to catch, raise and level them once they’re seen. Different monsters spawn in different locations depending on colors in their environment and the time of day.

Two of the most highly-anticipated video game accessories are being released soon: the PlayStation Move and Xbox Kinect. Nintendo Wii pioneered the motion technology that these two accessories take advantage of, but now you can enjoy this same entertainment on your other consoles!
PlayStation Move: Releasing September 19, 2010
PlayStation Move is an accessory that brings Wii-like motion control to your PlayStation 3. The PlayStation Move bundle comes with the move controller, PlayStation Eye Camera, and Sports Champions game disc. Sports Champions allows you to choose from one of 10 athletes from around the world to play a wide range of sports like disc golf, gladiator duel, beach volleyball, archery, table tennis and bocce. Check out this video below showing off the one-to-one motion technology that PlayStation Move offers:
You can pre-order PlayStation Move and receive 100 points toward our P.C. Richard & Son Video Game Rewards Program. Should you need additional motion and navigation controllers, we have those too!
Xbox Kinect: Releasing November 4, 2010
Unlike Nintendo Wii and PlayStation Move motion technology, Kinect does not require you to be holding controllers for you to play games. Kinect is a sensor that recognizes your body and mirrors your movements in the game, making you the controller! This means that you can bowl or play ping pong all you want and not worry about a controller getting stuck in your TV screen. The video below explains this “controllerless” idea better than words ever could:
The Kinect sensor is $149.99, which nets you 150 points in our Video Game Rewards Program. We also have a great Xbox 360/Kinect bundle available for those interested in these games, but don’t yet have an Xbox! The Xbox 360 4GB gaming console with Kinect is just $299.97.
PlayStation Move and Xbox Kinect will be the hot new holiday items this year, so preorder now and reserve yours today!
