If Your Facebook Isn’t Set to Pirate English, You Aren’t Living Life to the Fullest

Since today is National Talk Like a Pirate Day, we want to make sure the world knows about Facebook’s Pirate English option. Do you find yourself referring to your acquaintances as “mateys”? Do you measure time in hourglass cycles? Have you ever reacted to a situation with an emphatic “Arr!”? Facebook speaks your language. Follow these easy steps, and you’ll be able to experience Facebook in your native tongue:

Click the arrow in the upper right-hand corner and go to settings.

Click the button that says “Language” on the left side of the screen.

Scroll to “English (Pirate)” in the dropdown menu.

And you’re done! Enjoy going about your Facebook life as you were, except now it will look more like this:
